A project that will map out current initiatives focusing on women in SET.

Presence and representation of women scientists, engineers and technologists in the UK media

Analysing how TV, film and newspapers portray women in SET and whether the media impacts on the under-recruitment of and failure to retain, women in SET.

Gendered cultures in SET boards: Implications for women

This research project explores the cultures of private and public boardrooms in SET companies and organisations and the barriers to women’s progression.

Researching cultures in SET: an analysis of current and past literature

Exploring the existing literature on cultures in science, engineering and technology from a gendered perspective.

Gender and attitudes to enterprise: Survey of the UK doctorate students in SET

A survey that explores students’ attitudes towards enterprise& setting up their own business, including career destinations, possible enterprise plans, and knowledge and experience of business.
