JIVE - Creating Change for Women and Girls in Science, Engineering, Construction and Technology

JIVE Conference 2007

This year’s JIVE conference, held at the National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull, proved to be a truly exceptional one. Chaired by radio and TV presenter, Maggie Philbin, the international conference programme featured high profile speakers who have benefited from working with JIVE and who were able to share their experiences and give practical solutions. Over 150 delegates were there to hear outstanding presentations from Professor Averil MacDonald of the University of Reading, Michael Hellens of Transport for London and Isobel Riley of Rotherham 2010 as well as other superb speakers, discussion forums and practical workshops. The programme was augmented by exhibition stands from Leicester City Council, Transport for London Jobshare UK and Wai Yin Chinese Women Society.
