The CEO Charter
JIVE, in a partnership led by the UK Resource Centre for Women in SET, is urging employers to take action and improve the representation of women in the SET industries. If employers don’t change their practice, they will struggle to cope with the skills shortage within these sectors.
View the press release from JIVE's publicity event in London, 21 November 2007.
The UKRC CEO Charter calls on top level managers to sign up to the following:
- actively support the increased representation of women working in SET
- develop and communicate the business case for gender equality within their company, their supply chain and wider networks
- promote and showcase their company’s approach and examples of best practice
- implement practices which encourage women to enter, progress, or return to SET careers – such as flexible and part-time working
To show your commitment to improving the representation of women, complete this form and join a growing number of companies who are taking action to make a real difference. We will then contact you to discuss the next steps towards signing the UKRC CEO Charter.
